More drawings bit of fan art!

So I managed to buy some new tools recently at a boot sale for an amazingly cheap price!

I got this lot for £24, I totalled up what it would have cost as hobby craft and it would have set me back £175.40!! Amazing price.

First I made up a turtles type female character who came out pretty well and it allowed me to use my new pens.

Never really used coloured inks in my drawings before but I think they worked perfectly for this subject.

My new project was slightly bigger with a mix of watercolours and ink, I tackled the death of superman!!

Epically happy with the finished product, looking forward to what I do next already have some new material to draw from.

Drawing again

So lately I have had a bit more time on my hands over weekends and thus I have rekindled an old love with drawing and art. I haven’t sat down to draw anything in over 7 years, so to find out I still had some talent in me was a great surprise.

I think these two have turned out pretty good bearing in mind the huge gap.

 

And my dragon which I have yet to finnish 🙂

 

I will update with the finish and with more of what I decide to draw next. I do hope I manage to keep it up this time and life doesn’t get in the way too much!

 

Blockbuster sadness

So my local Blockbuster is closing 😦 boooooo and although I don’t go in a great deal it is a sad state of affairs. I had a good chat with the guys in there who are obviously very gutted about the whole thing, especially as the store hasn’t actually been given a closing date! They have just been told it will be closing with no timescale to work to, obviously these poor chaps can no longer be bothered and are thus riding scooter around the store. Blockbuster staff I salute you!

I will defiantly miss the days of just being able to pop into a shop and buy a game, dvd a CD.

On the upside there are short-lived bargains to be had, not one to miss out on a small opportunity I popped in for a looksy.

 

I bought all this for just slightly over £40 and that included a coke and a chocolate bar, the new Blu-Ray have 20% off and everything else has 30% off.

The guys also whispered in my ear that coming up to closing week, the discounts will be 70% off! needless to say I am eyeing up a PS Vita.

Sega Master System 1 Lot

So this little lot I bought some time ago, but I haven’t shown it off on my blog yet.

Got it from a Twitter pal who mentioned he would soon be placing some stuff on Ebay.

Missing my pink hair and my freedom!

So lately I have been looking back at my pink hair photos and being absolutely gutted I can’t go back there again.

Now to be honest the hair did look bloody awesome but I am not even sure if that’s really what im missing??

I think it’s the freedom to bloody do whatever I like to myself to my hair, I just don’t like being told what I can and can’t do.

Ok soo the background story is girl dyes hair pink, girl gets sent home from work on a FRIDAY and told to either take the day off or return with a wig on. It’s lucky that I bloody love wigs to!! I tried to wear a wig on daily and just rock the pink hair at the weekends, but it got boring it got itchy and I had to be sensible.

A trip to the hair dressers and two bleach scrubs later which ultimately wrecked my hair and turned it highlighter pink! I had to resign to boring boring brown 😦

In short down with the bloody man, down with bloody corporate image and will somebody give me a bloody cool job where I can do whatever the fuck I like to myself 😀

So I actually think I have had the best Christmas ever this year and have totally been spoilt rotten by my family and boyfriend, who have all bought me some of the coolest things known to man!

Lets start with my new The Great Frog rings & earrings, all are epic and if you have read any of my blog previous to this you will see my deep love for this small London based shop.

New small cat ring for my pinky – £100 in store and made beautifully!

Mum really embraced my furry hat fetish this holiday by buying me these superb hats –

Mum also bought me some sexy knee high Timberland boots from Schuh @ £140 in store

 

Then to finnish my very cool boyfriend bought me tickets to Harry Potter Studio Tour in London!!!! Possibly the coolest place in the world, I have wanted to go for soooo soooo sooooo bloody long! He also got me the more expensive ticket with the digital guide & souvenir guidebook 😀

£25 in game and I have played around 6 fun filled hours so far! Great game big thumbs up!

The Holy Grail of Sega according to Katie

Wait for it………………its my latest and greatest buy yet!

An item I have always sought after and looked for with no avail, until now!

A bit less important but alot of these games I don’t have, so only a few doubles.

After my many Facebook posts about various console guff a friend from a car forum messaged me to say he had a multimega sat in his garage somewhere and if I may be interested in it.

OMG do people just have these things laying about??? anyway to cut a boring story short this little lot cost me £50 +postage and I am over the bloody moon. I have removed my bulky megadrive / mega CD from my set up and replaced it with this, which is sooo tiny.

 

I guess now I just need a 32x, Nomad, boxed mega Cd, etc etc etc Thank you SEGA!!!

 

A few weeks also I also bought a boxed MS with mucho games, I will share later 🙂

 

My new Great Frog rings

I actually got most of these rings for my Birthday in August but haven’t got round to showing them off properly.

If you haven’t been to the great frog I can’t express how much you need to make the effort when your in and around London town. This shop is cool as hell, kookie and old school, the jewelry is awesome but the display cabinets alone are worth popping in for – filled with bones and skulls and all other types of creepy darkness.

Anyway this time around these were all bought for me for birthday pressys.

Muddy wet bootsale 18/11/12

I think this will probably be the last bootsale for me this year, the ground is far to muddy and there are more and more dealers and less and less independent sellers. All that being said I did pick up some cool stuff today.
